Description
An elegant pair of Chinese parrots from the 19th century, finished in beautiful turquoise glaze. These ceramic birds stand gracefully on an exposed rock-shaped base, a classic symbol of vigilance and protection in Chinese tradition. One parrot is in quasi-excellent condition with only two small superficial chips at the edge of the base. The other parrot has a small filled chip on the beak and both wings. This charming set is a wonderful acquisition for lovers of Chinese ceramics or exotic animal figures.
