Fine, bright cobalt blue with vibrant brushwork.

The Haiwu Tianchou (海屋添筹) motif belongs to the popular blue and white export decors of the Qing period: the sea hut (pavilion) and cranes refer to immortality, prosperity and birthday wishes. This set was purchased from Venduehuis The Hague-pretty documented provenance for collectors.
