La forme compacte et l'expression calme conf\u00e8rent \u00e0 la pi\u00e8ce une aura spirituelle et intime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Origine et signification<\/strong><br \/>\nOriginaire des \u00eeles Trobriand (cultures Massim), acquis \u00e0 Venduehuis Den Haag (2024). Une ancienne \u00e9tiquette de collection au bas indique une histoire de collection pr\u00e9coce. De telles figures avaient une fonction rituelle\/ancestrale dans la tradition Massim ; les motifs sculpt\u00e9s remplis de chaux sont caract\u00e9ristiques du travail de Milne Bay et soulignent leur caract\u00e8re d'usage c\u00e9r\u00e9moniel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dimensions et \u00e9tat<\/strong><br \/>\nHauteur env. 23,5 cm ; pied env. 6 \u00d7 5,5 cm ; poids env. 0,37 kg.
