Description
Unique set of three authentic Dogon bronzes from Mali, with powerful expression and beautifully weathered patina.
Each sculpture tells its own story: a proud rider on horseback, a traveller on a camel and a dignified standing man, all crafted using the age-old lost wax method (cire perdue). No two pieces are identical - these sculptures are literally unique.
Origin & meaning
Made by the Dogon from Mali, a people known for their deep spiritual traditions and refined bronze art. The statues symbolise status, protection and connection between humans, animals and ancestors.
