Baule Colon sculptures originated in the Ivory Coast in the early 20th century and depict African interpretations of European figures. This specimen is special because it depicts an iconic cartoon character: Tintin. The combination of African wood sculpture and Western comic book culture makes it a unique collector's item.
Dimensions
Height 30.5 cm - Width 4 cm - Depth 3.5 cm. The sculpture shows some signs of use and slight damage to the paint, befitting its age and authenticity.
