Description
Rare Art Deco bronze statue of a gold pheasant, beautifully designed by Salvatore Melani (1902-1934).
This elegant sculpture depicts a graceful gold pheasant with gold details in the plumage, which contrast brilliantly against the dark bronze. The long, stylised body and delicate engravings give the work a dynamic look. The pheasant stands on a rectangular base of red-brown marble with onyx inlay, which adds a powerful and luxurious look.
