Kangxi plate Famille Verte - 12.6 × 12.6 cm, fine polychrome decor in Famille Verte technique with a stag and a crane.
Origin & meaning: This plate dates from the Kangxi period (1662-1722), a heyday of Famille Verte porcelain. The deer symbolises official wealth and long-term prosperity, while the crane expresses the desire for a long, harmonious and spiritual life.
Condition: Excellent condition with gloss and colour retention.
