A septarie sphere with beautiful grain and natural cracks - a characterful Wunderkammer object that immediately stands out in any presentation.
This 822-gram globe displays the distinctive network of white calcite veins, black-brown matrix and warm ochre-yellow inclusions. The deep cracks, shiny planes and organic patterns make each specimen unique and highly decorative.
Origin & meaning
Septarie (also called “dragonstone”) is created by crack formation in sedimentary rock, later filled with calcite and aragonite. Its complex structure is particularly appreciated by collectors thanks to its combination of geology, history and visual power.
