Refined antique Buddha figurine from China, circa 1900, partly gilded and seated in the classical dhyanasana pose with hands in dhyanamudra.

Origin & meaning
This figurine shows the Buddha in deep meditation, the dhyanamudra, symbolising inner peace and enlightenment. Made of bronze and partly gilded, creating a beautiful combination of dark patina and gold accents. A floral rosette mark is visible on the underside, typical of workshops of the late Qing period around 1900. Such figurines were often used on home altars or as devotional objects for personal meditation.

Dimensions & condition
Height: 11 cm. The figurine is in good condition with a natural patina and slight wear to the gilding, befitting its age and history of use.
